Account Management Director

Account Management Director Role Overview:

MAGNETIC is seeking an experienced, operational leader to play a pivotal role in the development and growth of our Account Management team. As the Account Management Director, you will use your skills to set the direction for the department while also maximizing the team’s effectiveness of work, creating opportunities for growth within each account, ensuring each client engagement stays on budget, and being the face of MAGNETIC with your client groups.

This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, an understanding of the consumer goods industry, and a proven track record in account management.

Core Responsibilities of the Account Management Director:

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of digital and growth marketers, social media specialists, and demand generation specialists. 
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for excellence in serving MAGNETIC’s clients.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.

 

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients utilizing Growth Department services, ensuring a deep understanding of their business objectives and goals to help guide the department’s strategy. 
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective growth strategies.
  • Ensure regular communication (weekly, monthly & quarterly) with clients to ensure continuous value and strategy.

 

Strategic Account Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies in collaboration with the Strategy team to ensure Comm Strat and initial client documentation is executable and accurate. 
  • Collaborate with Chief Revenue Officer to identify new opportunities for client expansion.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform strategic decision-making.

 

Account Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish and monitor KPIs for client campaigns, ensuring that goals are met or exceeded.
  • Implement data-driven approaches to measure the success of campaigns and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

 

Operational Efficiency:

  • Streamline internal processes between both offices to enhance the efficiency of client delivery and campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an advertising or marketing agency.
  • Strong understanding of consumer goods and the dynamics of the advertising industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.

Account Management Director Compensation

The Account Management Director compensation is negotiable based on experience and locale. Compensation will be negotiated during the later phase of the interview and hiring process.
